SynqApp Mobile and SynqApp Web
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SynqApp collects, uses, discloses, protects, retains, and deletes data when you use SynqApp Mobile, SynqApp Web, and related file transfer, cloud sync, contact, billing, and support services.
Privacy Contact
SynqApp is developed and published by an individual developer. For privacy questions, data access requests, account deletion, or store-review inquiries related to the SynqApp application, use privacy@synqapp.in. If this email changes before release, this page, Google Play Console, and App Store Connect metadata should be updated with the same active contact.
1. Who This Policy Covers
This policy applies to people who use SynqApp as a visitor, sender, recipient, account holder, team member, administrator, mobile app user, web app user, or support contact. It also applies to files and information you choose to upload, sync, send, receive, preview, download, or manage through SynqApp.
2. Data We Collect
SynqApp only accesses files, folders, contacts, photos, storage, notifications, or cloud accounts when you use a feature that needs that access or when your device permission settings allow it. If a mobile permission is not required for a feature, you can decline it and continue using available parts of the app.
3. How We Use Data
- Provide upload, download, file sharing, cloud sync, transfer-link generation, and account features.
- Send transfer links, account notices, security alerts, invoices, support replies, and service updates.
- Secure SynqApp, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose crashes, maintain logs, and enforce usage limits.
- Improve performance, reliability, product design, customer support, and compatibility across mobile and web.
- Comply with legal obligations, app-store requirements, payment obligations, and valid governmental requests.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
SynqApp does not sell personal or sensitive user data. Data is shared only when needed to provide SynqApp, when you ask SynqApp to share it, or when legally required. For example, transfer recipient email addresses and file links are used to deliver the files you choose to send.
- Cloud storage, hosting, infrastructure, CDN, database, and file-processing providers
- Email delivery and notification providers used to send transfer links, account messages, and service alerts
- Payment processors and app-store billing providers for subscriptions and purchases
- Analytics, diagnostics, crash-reporting, security, fraud-prevention, and customer-support providers
- Legal, compliance, tax, and professional advisers when required to operate SynqApp or comply with law
5. Files, Links, and Recipients
You control the files you upload and the recipients or links you create. Anyone with an active transfer link may be able to access the shared file unless password protection, expiration, revocation, or account permissions are applied. Avoid uploading unlawful, confidential, or highly sensitive content unless you have the right to share it and have configured appropriate protections.
6. Security
SynqApp uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user data, including HTTPS/TLS for data in transit, access controls, link expiration controls, monitoring, and secure storage practices. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should keep credentials private and revoke links that should no longer be accessible.
7. Retention and Deletion
Files, links, logs, and account records are retained only as long as needed for the feature, your account plan, security, support, legal compliance, backups, or dispute handling. Anonymous transfer links may expire sooner than account-based transfers. Some records may be retained for legitimate operational or legal reasons after deletion, such as fraud prevention, accounting, tax, security, or compliance logs.
8. Account Deletion
If you create a SynqApp account in SynqApp Mobile or SynqApp Web, you can request deletion from inside the app or by emailing privacy@synqapp.in with the subject “Delete my SynqApp account.” After the request is verified, SynqApp will delete or anonymize account data associated with the account unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, payment, or dispute-resolution reasons.
9. Your Choices and Rights
- You can choose not to create an account and use available anonymous transfer features where offered.
- You can manage mobile permissions such as files, photos, notifications, and storage in device settings.
- You can request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion where applicable by law.
- You can unsubscribe from non-essential SynqApp emails using the unsubscribe link or privacy contact.
10. Children
SynqApp is not directed to children under 13, and SynqApp does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to SynqApp, use the privacy contact so the data can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
11. International Processing
SynqApp may process and store data in countries other than where you live. Where required, SynqApp uses appropriate safeguards for international transfers and requires service providers to protect data according to their contracts and applicable law.
12. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as SynqApp changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights or SynqApp data practices, additional notice will be provided where required.
